Our Fleet

We take pride in maintaining a diverse and modern fleet that closely mirrors airBaltics' real-world aircraft. Our fleet consists of Infinite Flight’s BCS3 (A220-300), Boeing 757-200, and Bombardier Dash 8-Q400.

BCS3

The Airbus A220-300 is a narrow-body, twin-jet airliner. Designed for 100–150 passengers, this aircraft has a maximum range of 3,450 nautical miles. Originally designed by Canadian manufacturer Bombardier Aerospace, it first entered service in 2016. With a high proportion of composite materials and larger windows, it makes a perfect flagship for airBaltic's active fleet. Members are able to fly this aircraft as soon as they join us.

DH8D

The Bombardier Dash 8-Q400 is a short-range commuter airliner that is a part of airBaltic's historic fleet. Entering service in 1999, the aircraft has a higher performance envelope and much quieter engines than any of its turboprop predecessors. With a computer-controlled noise and vibration suppression system, the type designation Q is said to stand for "quiet". The last official airBaltic flight with the DH8D took place on February 1st, 2023. Members who progress to the rank of Second Officer are eligible to fly this aircraft.

B752

The Boeing 757-200 is a medium-range, single-aisle airliner. Entering service in 1983, it shares many features with the Boeing 767, including its cockpit. It has a crew of two and can typically carry up to 200 passengers in two classes, or up to 228 passengers in a single class configuration. The focus on fuel efficiency during the production of this aircraft reflected airline concerns over operating costs, which had grown amid rising oil prices in 1973. Members who progress to the rank of First Officer are eligible to fly this aircraft.
